Lemmon Jr. Livestock Show Rules and Regulations

All entries must meet the requirements of the 4-H and FFA programs. Exhibitors must be 8 years old by January 1st of the current year.
Each exhibitor must own and have worked with their animal before the show.
Pre-registration forms are due by August 20th and must be sent to lemmonjrlivestock@gmail.com.
If an exhibitor cannot show their animal on the event day, they must submit a written request by September 1st to the Board of Directors.

All entries must be registered by 8:00 AM on show day.
All exhibitors must wear closed-toe shoes or boots.
No coaching is allowed in the judging area. Only exhibitors, judges, and livestock show personnel are permitted inside.
All exhibitors must clean their pen area before leaving.
Livestock must be removed by noon the following day. Lemmon Junior Livestock Show is not responsible for livestock at any point.

Cattle: Must be free of warts and ringworm.
Hogs: No testing required.
Sheep & Goats: Must have official USDA tags. Rams 6+ months need a negative Brucella Ovis test within 30 days.
All livestock must be free from contagious diseases (ringworm, pink eye, abscesses, etc.).

Participants with market animals may sell at the auction or take their animal home.
Final sale price will be determined at the auction, facilitated by Lemmon Livestock.

Showmanship contests will have Beginner (8-10), Junior (11-13), and Senior (14+) divisions.
Official Lemmon Junior Livestock Show shirts (provided) must be worn with jeans and closed-toe shoes or boots. Shirts must be tucked in all day.
No hats or caps in the show ring.
